Keep Challenging yourself to Think Better, Do Better, and Be Better!! ~Robin Sharma
Welcome to the Straight Up Mindset Blog!!
What's up Straight Up Nation! Thank you for returning to the blog. This week we are finishing the Routine Series. Before we go any further, I need you to get that quote. If you are going to achieve any goal in life, it starts with Thinking Better, Doing Better, and Being Better. You are destined for Greatness, but it starts with you! Give me the best version of yourself everyday and I promise you will be on your way to a Better Life.
Week one's topic was Morning Ritual. Having a morning ritual is essential to getting your mind and body prepped for the daily Grind. You can't just go through your daily checklist and not get mentally prepared for the day. Prepping your mind is just as important as prepping your body. If you want to dominate the day, envision yourself overcoming every obstacle that's in front of you and accomplishing whatever goal you had set for the day, but it starts with you being prepared mentally.
Week two we talked about Daily Goals. It's great to have Big long term goals, but you also need daily goals. Start your day off, by writing down a list of goals that you want to accomplish for the day. When you write them down, put them in an order that is most important to you, to least important to you, this way you know what you really need to get done first and what can wait for later, but in order for it to work, you have to Finish. All of your small victories compounded on each other, eventually lead to Big victories.
Week three was on Prioritizing. The ability to Prioritize is one of the key components to productivity and accomplishing goals. Just because your day is filled with tasks, challenges, and work, doesn't mean just pick one and go, you have to be able to look at what needs to get done and prioritize from most important to least important. Once you do that, start Grinding to the finish line and if you stay consistent in this, accomplishing things will become easier and the loads will fill a lot lighter.
This month I need you to see your goals clearly. We don't ask you every month to write your goals down just to be doing it. We ask you to write your goals down, because the more you see it, the Clearer it becomes. There is something about seeing your goals, that makes you have some accountability for yourself. The reason why some of us quit in the middle of our goals, because we can't see it, we can't see ourselves doing or finishing our goals. I need you to see it clearly, not physically, but mentally. Envision yourself accomplishing your goals and once you do that I need you to believe it in your heart and have 100% faith that whatever you have set out to do, it can be done. You have to stick with it, when no one around you believes in it. This is your Dream, These are your Goals, put the investment in yourself, because if you start investing in yourself and believing in your investment, other people will start investing in you. So for the next 30 days I need you to rewrite your goals. If you start a great Morning Ritual, write down some Daily Goals to reach the Big Goal, then Prioritizing them from most important to least important, you will start to accomplish everything that you set your mind to. Perseverance Pays!!!
